Ballagh. Saw Lura & Matie, too & had quite a chat. Tonight Claude rode down with me and I stopped for Helen. Rose Mills was there, but couldn't go with us. Claude rode with us to Driving Park Avenue bridge and then went back. Frank, Charlotte & Helen D. were waiting at the entrance to the park. It was a nice ride down - as usual. I rode with Charlotte most of the way. Stopped & gave the little girl her picture (June 6th). Her name is "Carrie Hartman". The family were much pleased. Found Will & Elsie Wray at the lake - driving. Frank got popcorn & we sat around in sight of the water - where we could see the moon through the trees - and ate and sentimentalized. A great many bright (?) things were said - if I could only remember them all! Then (9:30) we rode home - I will never forget that gorgeous moonlight ride! It was simply superb. The fine road, the good company, the sweet night air and the gorgeous moonlight on the fields and trees! It only took an hour - a short one - to get up home. I chatted a minute at Ned's gate & then spun home for a nice drink of milk - a warm bath - & such a sleep. This morning the Behns - Mrs. B. & Meta & Amelie started for Europe. Mr. B. & Mrs Arnoldt went to N.Y. June 24 Wed. Cool & mostly cloudy. Stopped at Mary's office this morning & she invited me to a
