Of course then I began spending it - on my way home got additional presents - a waist-blue & black changeable silk- for Mama - paints for Claude & neckties for Theo and Papa. Met Mary loaded with bundles - gave 50¢ to the Salvation Army dinner & some to to the fund for Dady &c.&c. Edith was up before supper with bundles - & Ned right afterward and we had the "Pie" on Mama's new oak dining table. It was full. We had great fun. I got loads of things. The bell kept ringing, besides Warren Fisk & Emma with boxes & bundles (a lovely pillow from Mary picture, a vase from Nellie a doiley from Emma and a doiley for Ned from Mary) a messenger
