Wilburs in "Mascotte". I sat between Charlotte
and Helen D. and Charlotte kept me en- thused with
"Clark" "Now isn't he sweet?" "Oh, see him now". "I like him when he does that" &c.&c.
Eloise Mortimer wasnt' "on" I'm happy to say - &
Hattie Richardson
made a cute Bettina to Clark's
Pipo. Of course the cut it. We sat in "C" & staid
to all the living pictures, "Trilby" included.
Aug. 28. Friday
Pleasant, but I got up feeling "mean" & felt so all day.
J.G. didn't improve matters.
Hustled around to get my prints sent to Ogunquit
& did, under great dis- advantages. Got a postal from Gertrude
saying she was coming at 6:25 & went to meet her, but found the
train was an hour & forty minutes late! Came back home - Sorted
prints & Ned came up to show me
hers, but I hurried so I didn't half see them - They've very good. Ate
a mouthful- sent my mail to the P.O. by
Claude and then got on a car & went back
to the station, just in time to meet Trudy. Coming home, Edith got on the car with us, coming up to call, and came
up home & staid while we ate supper. I told her she might take
my wheel tomorrow p.m.
Aug. 29 Sat.
