and of course the cinematographer was the Chief attraction, tho' we
were too near to see it well. We got "ideas" for Friday.

every other day - Looking for X-mas presents -
Hovey's - Warren's wedding list. Walking up with Mary or Ned - and stopping for them &c. &c. Tonight the
"gym" again - and basket ball.
Ned & I captained and her side beat. 5
to 3.
Rose was frozen & silent going home.
Ned & I chatted at the gate
& when I took to Diana, Stopped at
Mary's, going down, and she had
on her "Chimmie Fadden" suit - and looked
fine - I laughed & laughed - The boy's clothes
brought out something - I don't know what - so essentually feminine
that I was completely charmed and found her bewitching.

To-day is the great day of our Pedro Club
character party. I stopped and tried on wigs etc. etc. this noon -
rented a blonde "football" wig! Stopped at Ned's and so on - J.G.
kept me till nearly six - Rode down in the car with
Cad Chapin. She's going to teach
cooking at the Mechanics
Institute. After supper Claude dressed - for the "Geisha",
Mama for the "Little
Peppers" and Theo for
", Mary
