Edith has to get up early & to Eastman's
by 8, so I did too and we had breakfast
alone and walked up this lovely spring morning. I did errands, but was
early, of course. Stopped at Mary's at noon. Got orders for 4 sets of my flood pictures - 1
to go to India
(Gilmore to Phinney).
Gilmore thinks they're "fine". Met
Bert Brower & had a chat this noon. Met
Frank Decker this a.m. He's let his moustache
grow again. Wish he wouldn't.
Mary came up after supper , & later
Frank Davis. She went home early
Jack Ballagh & Ed
Teall were coming and
Frank
staid
till 9:30 & was entertaining as usual - I fixed my photographs later.
Apr. 9. Thurs.
(cyclometer 930) made 1000 to begin '96
Chas. Mulford Robinson Eliza Ten Eyck
Pruyn married
I got Diana down from the attic this a.m.
It was so lovely. Rode to the office on her & left her at
Miner & Fisk's to be
"pumped up". They are tearing down the
Sibley triangle (It's nearly down)
& every- thing is covered with dust. We are busy with J.W. away. Rode home this noon without
getting off, and talked bicycle to Miss
Dinehart (Also Mrs. Behn)
Didn't ride this p.m. Have got to have my skirt fixed - Bought the
stuff to. Another nice long letter from Ned, which I answered this evening, after I had had a
lovely little call on
1896.
I went home with Edith and we got
the quarter of twelve car down & got to bed late again - so tired
Apr. 8 Wed
