Mr. Lowell and young Mr. Lord (Dartmouth '94) walked down to our piazza with me - and Prof. Lord (of Dartmouth) stood his wheel against a tree and came in - while Alice and Wiltsie served some very slick apollinaris lemon- ade. Miss Iles arrived in time for some and when Mr. L. noticed her D.K.E pin she informed him, before us, that it was given her by the young man to whom she was engaged! After din- ner it seemed to grow hotter. I took two more pictures of baby Janet Miller - trying to stand alone, then Wiltsie in- vited "de gang" to go for ice cream, and Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Perrin, Miss Iles, Alice, Gurdon, Wiltsie & I all went and partook.
