W. made a few pat remarks - the W. told how she wished she had been fishing this p.m. & I fled to "me rival" up higher, with whom I had a nice chat and who wants to go fishing tomorrow. He invited Wiltsie, when the lady in white had began to tow Alice off - and Wiltsie invited me & Mr. L. seconded it most heartily - and W. & I made little bets with each other that the W what the result would be, and had a real jolly time coming down the board walk - where we left the charmer.
