Dec. 8-11. Wed-Sat. Staid home evenings mostly and shopped & worked day times. This is busy - Christmas - weather. Dec. 12. Sun. Had the pleasure of staying in bed and resting till one o'clock today. Got up to dinner (Con was here) & Edith came soon after. We were just starting away when Lizzie McCurdy came & staid an hour - she is one friend who remains always the same and I do enjoy her very much. She was most entertaining now and when I saw her at our Church sale - last Friday night - & had a long visit after she finished waiting on table. Today Edith & I went to Mary's for 5 minutes or so & then up to Mae's where we got a cold roast duck supper in the kitchen & spent some of the evening. Warrant Castleman came. Saw some new Stony Lake pictures & John
