Finished up Charter business this morning and J.G. went to Albany on the Empire State. I read went over to Lura's on my wheel, with Mary & Edith, at 7:30 and got back at 9, after making quite a long & pleasant call. Finished getting words - fashions = 122. Fixings = 40 Monthly = 85 = 247. Mch. 31. Wed. Lovely - but slightly cool. Selected paper for my new room (Claude's) I'm to have a lovely mahogany dresser, a sofa and and iron & brass bed! Tonight I washed my hair & then read Scribner's &c. Apr. 1. Thurs. Went to gym. tonight, stopping at Ned's for half an hour. I rode my wheel, Frank Davis was waiting when we came out. He gave me some gum! Found Con here when I got home. We counted Ned's 10¢ pieces = $8.90. Apr. 2. Friday. Pleasant house cleaning. Staid down & went to lunch with Ned at Harned's (Mrs. Thomas is away.) Edith came later & Charlottelater still. I went to Helen Davis' to supper - Lura was there C. said she was very blue this noon when she came in, but we made her feel all right (she made it personal) Frank said he met me on his
