& I showed him mine & we are to exchange ever so many more.
He hasn't heard from "Sarah", or any body & is
going to give me a picture to send Dr. Jacobson.
(Himself, myself & young Kirby). A lovely night -
Halloween.
Mr. C.
seemed to
enjoy his call very much & said he did - I invited him come again.

Today, has been beautiful & mild & nice.
Exchanged my seal skin for a pretty fur cape and went to lunch with
Edith
& tonight to the Gymnasium & joined. I didn't exercise, but
went into the dressing room with Helen (while
Miss Smith
drilled the class) & she told me very confident- ially of a
letter she wrote Murray & his
reply - promising her - in effect - never to get drunk again
&c.&c. I think she was a plucky girl to write it & it happened
to be just the right thing - if the boy only could appreciate the
affection which is apparently wasted on him - by people. I hope he
will reform, if only for Helen's sake.
Klemmy Goodyear was at the gym &
we walked down together. Stopping for "lemon & vichy" & then
I walked home - in the lovely moonlight - & have been writing
ever since. Claude has gone to N.
York.
(via Albany & Geo.
Bailey's) to try & sell
Charlie King's wonderful
"Prismatic Puzzle".
