We decided to have a party Apr. 30, at Lura's with men & I'm to get up the invitations &c
m. Then we finally got to taking pictures
- which was all right only that "Dolly Varden" had to
go home with her mother & "Hout mon" MacArthur disappeared behind the others
& refused to be taken even in a group - (I think I got her with the
P.K. I took the
Bride & Groom (in bridal-photo attitude) & a
group and then "couples" & "singles" till my plates were gone.
We walked home (of course) arriving about one & with great fun on the
way. I had to give "George" (the lamb) to "Domy"
- he took such a fancy to it. I'd had "George" printed
on its collar by my artist. "Crawled in" about 1:30.

Lovely day. Felt "all right" till afternoon, when I began to be
tired. Mary came up tonight to
bring invitation list &c. She liked my room very much. Con was up too, for a little while, and
went home with Mary. I then wrote
the invitations to the boys - like this: - The.
