to dinner. Sat long at table, chatting with "the boys", and afterward

Mr. DeGraff & I played 5 handed
Pedro. Then we played "consequences"
& "telegrams" and such fool things & finally went
home ( Dr. with me.)
Apr 14. Wed.
Lunched with Con at Sibley's this noon - Mary&
Matie came in while we were there. My new bed
came and it's quite a beauty. Ned came
home & tonight & went down there. Nellie Mac was there - Ned
has 3 new hats, a new coat, 2 new waists,
&c.&c., and she brought me a lovely green & white shirt waist.
Apr. 15. Thurs.
Nice day - shopped this noon & lunched with
Helen Davis. She told me her troubles in re.
the
Y.W.C.A. gym. position &c.&c. After supper
Con, Claude & I went up to the park. It was delightful -
gray & pale yellow & greenish tints in land & sky & water
- and smoke & a train crawling along with reflecting red lights.
We "drank it in" and then rode 'round the circle in the rising moonlight.
Met Mary & Alice.
Claude left us at Brooks
Ave. & Con I rode out
Genesee St and Chili and
Carlton and down
West & thro' Ford &
Spring in the gorgeous moonlight. Stopped at
Curran & Goler's for "lemon
& vichy" and then rode out East Avenue &
Alexander St.
and home by way of St. Paul St. and
Court St. Bridge.
Apr. 16th Friday
Shopped again this noon & didn't go home. Tonight upholstered
& fussed & "aided" in hanging pictures.

Still shopping - this is my week - Rather a disagreeable day -
fussed with photographs tonight
