the "gym" - dined with the Vagabonds - 9 strong - & called on Charlotte. Harvey sat between Mrs. Elwood & me. He said "His Honor" (John) had a new Library Paste mine in Canada (lithgraphic stone - it is really) and as the Brochure Article about him by Claude)

was out today he told Mr. Bangs it cost 25¢ & shake hands with him. We had a jolly hour. Have been writing this evening - & Claude has got out his banjo which has been put away many months & Papa is home from Utica - where he has been all the week. Mary Dodds & Miss Stowell invited me very cordially to come to "tea" in their studios. Mary came up this p.m. and we walked home together - with a few stops. She gave me her picture - the first one - in her organdie dress. Nov. 14. Sunday Spent most of the day at home - reading &c. Con was up this a.m. Claude played the banjo & then they both went for a ride out towards Scottsville. After dinner I dressed & walked to the office, where I got Diana and then rode out to the Davis's - found Mr & Mrs Crosby there with Chat & Mr D. & Miss Farley just going. Pretty soon Frank, Helen& Mrs. D. came and we had a jolly supper & music & pictures afterward
