Apr. 27. Tuesday Pleasant. Matie, Nellie, Mary, Mrs Weaver & I were all over to Lura's tonight, planning lobster salad & cutting out 12 perfects "(I did that) and fixing paper dolls for the Virginia Reel, and making final arrangements generelly. We also had wafers and cream cheese and chocolate and a pleasant ride home together. I'd left my wheel at Mary's. Lura was hugely delighted because "Clark" is going to live at 7 Edmund St. - right on her car line &c.&c. Mrs. Baker is delighted about the party. Apr. 28 Wed. Shopped aroung this noon. Met Mary &c. Tonight Mary, Con and I rode our wheels over to Davis' and played Pedro (to teach Con.) Had a jolly time & Chat & I had good luck. They are in their new house - Like the other with improvements. Rode home rather late, stopping at Mary's for root beer & here also. Apr. 29. Thurs. Con asked me to go riding again tonight. but I conceived the brilliant (?) idea of making signs for the boys tomorrow night. So had them all composed & Ned came up and helped me letter them tonight - I did 8 & she four - up in my room - Con came before we finished, but Ned went home early and he staid. Papa's birthday Apr. 30. Friday The day of the Ball - Stopped at Ned's this noon. Will & his new byke & suit came on the Empire & Mr. DeGraff from the
