May 18 Tuesday Quite windy today. Con came up early tonight and he & Claude rode down to the park & saw Blondin walk & then came back & told us about it. Con staid till 11:25. May 19. Wed. Edith was coming up to ride at 7 tonight, but didn't (Con was here before)- so I washed dishes & he wiped them & Claude "assisted" and just as we got started Edith & Nellie was came & E. put them away - so we got through in short order. Edith didn't want to go to the park, so I rode down with them & met Ned walking up, Con went to the park. Ned & Edith came back with me & we talked awhile & I told their fortunes. Ned's cards were quite strangely true - as usual. I walked down with her & we stopped for phosphate. May 20. Thurs. Rain today - I spent the evening with "The Seats of the Mighty". Sometimes in my lovely window-seat and sometimes down stairs. May 21 Friday A lovely day. J.G. in Albany & J.W. home with a sore tooth. Called at Geo. Humphrey's & saw the picture of the Vagabonds, which is fine. Con came in & helped me up with my wheel (Rain made me leave it there last night) and asked to go to Charella's recital with me tonight. It was in a store and the chairs were back-breakers - but the recital was good. The beautiful Miss Atkinson was there & Miss Wilder sang twice.
