We played pedro& I made 175 in 5 games but Mary beat me (made 52 in one) at a score of 201. She got a funny little duck sitting on a nest of candy eggs. Hamilton Davis sent us all delicious maple sugar. This was the night for the 12 P.L.L's at Rogers', but Mrs. Hawley died & Matie went to Northumberland & they postponed it - Lura, Nellie & I rode home on the street car & carried the maple sugar! Apr. 3. Sat. Pleasant - but I felt far from well today. Met Helen Davis tonight & chatted with her in Harned's. Then we met the 3 MacArthur's and then Charlotte & went into Higgins for port wine - then I walked home with the Mac As - Called for Mary; tonight & we went to see Maude Adams & John Drew in "Rosemary" - the sweetest thing yet.
