and talked to Geo. Humphrey while

finished cleaning his wheel. Then we went to Seneca Park, stopping for Edith on the way. It was lovely there.
We went to the
refectory and took a few pictures &c. Then rode around to
the river bank & lay on the grass & talked for hours. Con was irresistibly funny & Claude would laugh out continually from the
depths of "The Tragic Nurse" while Edith wore a perpetual smile. We watched
a man fish (but not catch) and some crows conversing & Mr.
Bartholomay riding about ("getting up a thirst")
Con said. We came out before 12
and met Mr. & Mrs. Warren Cutler walking in. Saw the
rope where
Blondin is to walk the river gorge and
took my last picture on the roll - a group much in shadow. I
suggested coming home by Linden Lane and Edith
and Claude didn't, but Con assured me
