We stopped for pop-corn - when we'd come down from the heights - and
I stood munching it & guarding the wheels while Con went into Dake's & I saw "Clark" come down the
street - hesitate - buy a bag of popcorn & go on - Then I saw
"Conly" & another & some chorus girls (some young
men nearby also saw them!) and then
Con came & we went home - but he
wants me to go to the Laketomorrow
night.

Nice Morning enough - & I rode over (& took Diana to be cleaned -) but it soon began to
pour & still drizzled at noon. Walked down with Matie - poor girl , she's pretty blue for her - her
mother in the hospital and Gorton &
McCabe
failed yesterday - or Wednesday! I stopped at Ned's, as usual & sat 10 minutes - she
has used crutches 2 days - got my wheel when I came back (it cleaned off.)
& passed the 2900 mark! Tonight I stopped at the Gym saw
Helen Davis who wants me to go to
the Mascotte tonight - Mary
down too - she telephoned me - but I don't want to - 15 are going!
Got my shoes - the Gym closes tomorrow for the season. Cad & Francis
were there. Rode home in a S.W. wind - but lovely sky - Claude & I rode down to Ned's for 5 minutes after supper. Then I
wrote & fixed things. Bed 10 p.m.
