A nice - cloudy - day. Had to send Aroix word we couldn't come, last night, as Chat isn't able. Read & fussed &c.
and late in the afternoon rode out to Stulls on
"Diana". They were not home, so I
started for Edith's but stopped
& called on Klemmy Goodyear.
Then rode out to Genesee Street to the
Park , got a picture & walked home.
Had an oniony-supper in the kitchen and
Mrs. Behn came over to invite me there,
but I couldn't go. Read "Rupert of Hentzan" &c.
May 30. Mon.

Cool & gray & pleasant - Got down to the office early &
staid till after 11. Both the
Cutlers were there & their wives - Also
Bert &
Dick
- Gilmore is
at the lake. The procession was very fine & over an hour
passing. Afterward I got my wheel (mended at
Kelly's) and rode out to
Davis's & sat up stairs with them
and talked "Europe" & had dinner with
them all - & Frank & rode
home again, via. Charella's - Edith
came over a little while & I sewed all the afternoon. Also
packed my trunk and had to leave out my stunning red wrapper! This
evening Edith & I went
