Mrs. Behn) not to ride to
Scottsville to- morrow, as planned and then
bath & bed.
June 6. Sun.
A lovely morning - I was awake at half- past six - half regretting
we didn't go - and then went to sleep till 9! Had a "restful" day -
as Mama calls it - reading in my
new "boudoir" &c. Ned came up a
little while this morning & I half promised to come down to Edith's this p.m. but didn't Went to
church with Mama. Had a swell lunch
- on the oak - & then wrote Trudy
&c. We missed both our boys today - a letter from Claude. Passed Frank
Decker yesterday - on the Culver path.
June 7. Mon.
Poured all day today. Con came back
this morning & reported a good time - baths, bicycle rides &
spills - boat rides and fishing. Claude came
this p.m & he had a fine time with Gellett
Burgess in N.Y. &
Geo. Bailey in Albany - dinners -
theatres - breakfast & &c and the Martian poster
accepted. We were all going to Edith's tonight to play Pedro -
but Elsie was sick & she told
us not to come. I spent the evening with Ned.

Still rainy. Tonight I "dressed up and went to a reception at
Powers Block. Fredericka, Miss Samson
& Miss Plumb in their studio & the hallway
