we all went to see Maud Adams in "The Little Minister" - Mama too - oh - & she was charming - & this week we went to see Francis Wilson at his new opera "The Little Corporal", Edith & I to the opening night & Saturday with Claude in a box - Charella & Mr. & Miss Schumacher & I. The box being a gift from Mr. Wilson with whom Claude got very chummy. He made F.W. a poster too & the latter asked if he might have the pleasure of putting him up at the "Players" in N.Y. Warren Cutler asked for some fruits of my coaching picture to send Mr. Thomas (his swell coaching friend we met in N.Y) & his acknow- ledgement was so nice I copied it & append it here - Papa has gone to Watertown & couldn't be here to dear Sue's funeral - Charlie Bragdon seemed to feel awfully - as we all did. Frieda goes to the Sacred Heart this year, and has a bicycle - to her delight - & Meta goes to business college & Grace Donohugh to Miss Ballantine stenography school, by Meta's paying her tuition. They sent over Amelie's Humber wheel for me to ride when I broke Diana (the 13th) but today I got her mended - Yesterday
