Apr. 5 Monday.
Lovely morning, but April showry all day. J.G. went to Albany
early. I did errands & went to see Freddie at her studio this noon. Had quite a visit &
got home on a car, between showers. Tonight stopped at Gorton & McCabe's opening &
Marycame. We walked up home together
"Gym" tonight. Basket ball 3 to 3 "in our favor". Wrote & fussed
with photographs till very late.
Apr. 6. Tuesday
Shopped to-day. It rained. Con &
Claude went with me to Gorton & McCabe's tonight, to decide
finally on my new bed - a "swell" one it is, too. brass rods and
things. After supper I covered a screen with denim (green) & got
things started toward my room. Con
came up & he & Papa hustled
furniture while I tacked brass tacks & Mama took out iron ones. Then we all went down stairs
& I fixed a green denim pillow for my new room. Slept in it first
time.
Apr. 7. Wed.
My dresser and sofa came today - but I couldn't settle tonight
because of the "Twelve Perfects'" meeting.
Had to "hustle" to get ready. Mabel
said we'd "have to bring it" if we had anything to eat - so I
carried - besides my
