Alice were up a little while Friday evening & later Edith, to bring me a "catchall" for my state room - I've got my ticket
22nd
& all - It came today & probably I'll have the state room all to myself. Today has been lovely - but with a shower or two. This p.m. Mama & I went over to Davis's & had a nice visit - Miss Farley was there. Then we came home to a Sunday night onion-&-bread-&-butter supper & Claude told me lots about Bernard Shaw's criticisms which he's been reading assiduously. Monday May 23rd Another April day - with a scurry - back at noon to avoid a hard shower - Hard study at French ("le Subjunctif"!) and at night a delightful time at the theatre. I went with Mary & Alice Macand we walked over. Claude was there with Charella. Johnnie Dumont with Mary Dodds, Mr. & Mrs. Bangs, Theo, Meta & Mr. B. &c.&c.&c. We had the first
