More dressmakering. Tonight rode down to Mary's and had a nice chat with her and her sisters. Then rode over to Lura's. We went to call an Alice Weaver, but she wasn't home. I staid quite late with Lura June 23. Weds. Warm - Mrs JW's little dog " Flip" died today & she was inconsolable. JW had to go to N.Y. tonight and took her with him. I washed the dishes tonight & Papa wiped them. It was hot. Then & dressed & cooled off & rode over to Johnny Dumont's photograph ex- hibition with Con. (It was very good) & then went for "lemon & vichy" & a bicycle ticket & home. June 24 Thurs.

Very warm & thunder - showery. J.G. was ex- tremely exasperating today & quite used me up. After I got a bath & a clean shirt waist (& supper) I started out, got Mary, & rode over to bid Charlotte goodbye. She is going to Philadelphia & Atlantic City &c. her mother with her. Starts tomorrow morning. Had a real nice visit & rode home before 10. The Salvation Army Camp meeting tents were lighting the crown of Cobb's Hill. Found Con here & we had a chat on the piazza & I showed them my new organdie. Hot. June 25. Friday. Pleasant morning - Met Chat. & Mrs. Davis as they changed cars & let them take the "Indiscretion of the Duchess" to read. Tonight I went down to Mary's a few minutes & talked to Nellie & Emma on the steps. Con wanted me to go riding (before he & Claude went to Mary Dodds' party
