side. We arrived at Crouch's cottage, at last- Where
the Y.W.C.A were having a "Bicycle Tea" and had sherbet and
cake &c. Cad &
Frances Chapin were there - Bess Weaver, Rena West,
Ed. Penny, Charlie Case,
Jno. Wright &c.&c.&c. and everyone in
"Knickies" or short skirts- according to sex. The grounds overlook
Ontario
the Beautiful - which was calm & blue
Helen took us by winding ways thro' beautiful places
& at last emerged on a point overlooking the lake - I regretted that my film ran out
on Ned's "composition" of Edith & me - so I couldn't take the
lovely hills & winding path & the spring. The vineyards and the
woody roads - all beautiful. At the point
