May 9. Sunday A lovely morning - irresistible - Con came up before breakfast & I hurried & soon after Ned came & she & Claude & Con & I went for Mary & waited for her to get ready and then rode down for Edith & waited for her & then went to North Park. At Mary's the boys camped on the grass playing- mumblety-peg & I took Mary's picture pinning a pansy on Con. At Edith's Con & Mary fought for posession of "Donald" - & Mary got him so Con took the dog & I took their pictures (I think) we all saw the new baby. We had a nice ride to North Park. It was warm - but beautiful. Stopped at the Spring for water. Rode past great banks of violets growing wild - and over into an apple tree's shades beside the pond. Here we took a long siesta. I lay on the grass until Con picked me up bodily - because Claude tho't it too damp. We talked and "jollied" each other and I took a couple of pictures of the reposeful attitudes and we watched the ducks & some people & said very bright(!) things finally a cloud came up & we started homeward - none too soon for we began "feeling sprinkles" on Frank St. I think every one of us had a good time. I took a tubbing before dinner & put on my new shirt waist.
