me of Mr. Gill of London - a
compliment I'm sure. It was pouring when we came out - & I in my
new hat! but
14th
I didn't spoil it. Aroix moved into
new quarters Friday - The De Gelleke
rooms. He's to have a Spanish club with him & consulted me about
it! and showed me thro' the rooms, of course. Elevator work goes on.
We have a new man in the office - came Monday -
Reginald Flack. He seems very nice -
Is about 19, Gilmore says, & quite
good looking & very quiet. Claude
in Oswego & Con in Geneseo today - Rain
15th
Saturday - more rain this a.m. Tonight Con came up to supper & took me down "ta Dakes" afterward where I met Edith - She & I went to see
"Tess" from the 25¢ gallery (the first few rows all
girls!) & tho't it was wonderful - as before. How can that woman
do it (Con came for me & we put
Edith on a car & then got phosphate
(we invited her) & missed our car - so
walked - Each eating a large red
16th
apple! Today was bright & cold and fine. I got on the 11:15 car
- with "Villette" - & went to the Beach & walked
along the Beach Avenue behind the cottages
