I forgot to mention that Wednesday we had
the most astonishing storms - Thunder, lighting & torrents of rain - but Trudy
didn't get it on the lake.
Gilmore invited me to stay down to
dinner with him &
Con & Mr.
Lattimore joined us & we had a very gay time - up in
Carroll's tea room.
& Edith were both up last
night. Today
I spent the p.m - till 4 or so - making prints of my negatives -
Con came up & jollied we &
brought me lunch & invited me to the minstrels and to take a
bicycle ride &c.&c. When I got home Annie
&
Harold were here again and I visited & fixed
my skirt.
Con was up too & I took his picture -
Then I rode over toMrs. MacGregor's - & spent the
evening sewing, pressing & writing. Claude
has his character from handwriting by "Graphic" and it
is fine. He has been to
Syracuse to a dinner and to Oswego
since Thursday.

Showery today, but I came home (with
Mrs. Ellwanger & a Moore boy) in a car at noon,
tho' Gilmore invited me to lunch & so
did Claude & George H. Met Mr.
Gillis - He inquired about Helen , as usual and said "Between you and me, I think
she has made a mistake and has found it out. It's funny how such nicesmart
