was quite sick Thursday in bed all the afternoon & evening. I
got dinner &c.
25th
Friday night I went home with Lura
to dinner & we went up to Davis's in the evening - Had to climb the bridge.
Found Helen sick in bed, threatened with
pneumonia & Frank ready
for War. I rode my wheel to Lura's
& home. It seems good to be on Diana
again.
Mama is going to learn. J.G. has hired a new girl for the office
- Frances H. McIntyre of 25 Dartmouth
St. at $7.00
one month's experiment, but I'm sure he'll keep her for she pleases
him & I like her looks first rate. We're just about finishing
the first book in French!

Rather busy times. We've had two "baby blizzards" since the nice
warm weather. Last week the Pedro Club was
put off because Mrs. Warren had the grip.
And again this week for various reasons -
2nd
one that it was "Holy Week". Last Sunday
Mary & Nellie were up and in the afternoon
Mary & I walked over to Davis's and had a nice visit with
Chat & Helen, stopping at Lura's to
supper. Mary has been down to
Matie Hawley's and found her ill
in bed. She told me all about her of course. I have lunched
