caught up. Today I read in the window seat all morning. Con was not here to dinner & shortly afterward Charlotte & Helen came & later Edith & staid till 8:30 - & to supper and we all had a very good time. Con came in the evening - I wrote & bed. March 6. Sunday Nicely caught up at the office this week. Claude went to Oswego about Mr. Higgins' house - Jno. & Mae Stull are to build. Papa is in Watertown. Pedro at Lura's Wednesday & Mrs. Weaver got the prize. Had a jolly time. Nellie wouldn't let us talk "Europe". I went home with the Davises - Wore my new "steamer coat". Had a wrapper made, too. Lovely springy weather. Gilmore is betting with me on the number of full moons I'll see "going over". Last night Charlotte & I went to see Mrs. Fiske in "Tess of the D'Urbervilles" and it was wonderful. & most thrilling & powerful. The whole company were fine. Forest Robinson just right for "Angel."
