camera and tripod - a basket of dog biscuit for Ned's donation & salt herrings for mine. Edith met me at the corners & Mary, Nellie (wearing the violets I sent her) and Alice got in the car. Mary brought "Aunt Jemima's Pancake flour" and Nellie link sausages. Edith her dinner pail with two kinds of onions! Charlotte brought animal crackers & Helen "all-day suckers" and Matie kisses & Lura lion's & lambs (sugar) - Mabel was quite overcome! We played 7 games & I had awful luck - May Rogers won the pin. At supper the sausages were draped on the gas fixtures and the room was hung with flags and "art galleries" for each of us - pasted on cards. We had cold ham, coffee & biscuits. Sat long at table - talking "party" and "ball". I had to hurry awfully with the picture and didn't get in, myself - nor Lura nor Mrs. Weaver. We had fun in the car, going home. Quite tired out. We are going to have a party with "boys". Apr. 8. Thurs. Edith came for me at 5 o'clock & I bought a shirtwaist. Then went to gym. & had a a nice little visit with Helen D - who had a sick headache. Alice Benedict came before I left. Rode home just before the rain & spent the evening arranging my lovely new room.
