again we danced a little and George asked if he might send me a maple leaf pin - and of course we had supper (chocolate, bread & butter & cake) and sang "God save the Queen" & "Yankee Doodle" and "The Maple Leaf" and "America" & Spotten went home about 12:30 and we all danced up stairs & George showed we his girls' pictures (the rich one & the poor one & the one from Buffalo &c.) & tried to find one of his to give me but couldn't - And finally we went to our room and got half undressed - when a sweet serenade - a duett (Hal & George

) about "my baby" - and "I lov...ed her so" went on outside amid chuckles & giggles from the girls who informed us later that the boys were dressed only in pajamas - our walking hat - & cigarettes - We threw them my big chrysanthimum - much wilted - and a cloth sunflower which were received with rapture - Then to bed Nov. 27th Saturday but not to sleep - for wind howled & shutters banged & there were nocturnal visits from Maude & other strange noises about and finally a shutter fell off & sleep came toward morning. We got up for nine o'clock breakfast - with everyone - & I had time to take a snap at George
