to the bank & Mrs. Weir came in about 10 to ask if she should bring up our breakfast - I said "no" & got up just in time to Miss Mr. Mason, who went at 10:25 and had breakfast with Hal & his mother & took Mary's to her. The rain was pouring down. I spent the rest of the morning in the pleasant drawing room window talking with Hal - whom I think is a dear boy - he showed me the cutest picture of himself & Jessie Wilks - which
