Tonight before supper had a nice little call on Will & Helen at the Powers & Will invited me to dinner, but I didn't stay. We all went to the theatre tonight - Emma, Nellie, Peg. Mary, Ned, Edith & I (& Will upstairs) The play was perfectly horrid. I only went to see Ned a little more - & Peg (but Mary kept her corralled!) Oct. 15. Friday. Still warm. Went up to Mrs. R's to get my dress this noon & had a secret little visit with Ned, who was packing. Will came later. They go to the Falls on the Empire this p.m. & tomorrow to Toronto & to dine with Mr. Dymond.

I resigned myself to rest tonight, tho' Mae still wanted me to stay with her. Oct. 16. Sat. Windy. Stopped to meet Claude (coming from Geneseo) at 5:55 tonight & we walked up. Found a note from Mae asking me to come up & stay with her - Jno. being in Canada - So I did after supper & a bath. Rode my wheel - but it was a wild weird windy night and I got tired. Otho came late to visit his wife in the hospital & their infant daughter. Oct. 17 Sun. Slept with Mae & slept pretty-well - woke up at 8 to a clear cold windy day.
