I rode Diana - tho' I walked up with Mary at noon & rode down to see Nellie - sick with the grip - afterward. Saw Ned trundling her wheel along Spring St. and walked with her up to Thompson's. Spent the evening home - Reading "The Martian" &c. Mch. 24. Wednesday Colder & stormy again - Had "Ralph" treat my tooth at Dr. S's & walked back & forth in horrid cold March rain. Tonight Con brought up a packet of photographs and spent the evening (till after eleven) here. I'm beginning on another $100 prize word contest! Mch. 25. Thursday. Blizzardy & the ground all white again J.G. got back this p.m. "John N." came yesterday. Busy & Blue (opposite terms!) & things awry, but I see light tonight.
