Later we went to the Lower Falls, via Ned's & Edith's & would have gone to Seneca Park, only there was a headwind against us. Stopped for Ned, coming home, & she came up to supper with us. I got it - Claude was home too - & soon after Helen & Frank Davis came & we spent quite a jolly evening.Helen was real funny and told about her visit at Hamilton's &c.&c. Then I washed the dishes! Aug. 23. Monday. Went to the early train with Mame. Emrich is here & J.G. is sick with a sore throat. Busy as usual. Stopped at Ned's tonight and after supper wrote letters & sent off pictures et. cetera. Con was up. Aug. 26 Thurs. J.G. has been sick all the week - threatened with pneumonia. Tonight Papa, Mama & Claude have gone to hear Anna Besant on Theosophy! and I've been writing to Maude and Hilda and sending them their last prints of the Stony Lake pictures. I made them each a little book with
