& Mrs. L. recited & we told Conundrums &c. Just before we reached Young's Point the fog left us, and then we all got out & took a walk "around the block" - and felt better. Mr. D
& Mr. F. especially. They sat up in the bow together and bellowed forth (in two parts) "Wrap me up in my old stable jacket And say a poor buffer lies low, And six stalwart lancers shall carry me, With steps solemn, mournful and slow, Then get me two little white tombstones Put one at my head and my toe And get me a pen knife and scratch them
