July 30 Friday Foggy when Jimmie called us, but lovely afterwards. We 4 and Mr. Dymond started on the "Sunbeam" at 6:30. The clouds & the lake were perfectly gorgeous. We called at Juniper, Forest Nook & Coxe's and got 33 people on in all (Flavie, Harold True &Stewart "ran" the ex- coursion) including Mr. & Mrs Meyer, who got on at Burleigh locks. The girls were very tired & pretty cross, I managed to keep up all right myself, till afternoon. The lakes were beautiful in the morning sunlight. We got off at every lock, & took a litte walk and talked & jollied each other. All thro' Deer Bay - which is unusually beautiful, high densely wooded banks on oneside.
