then Mr. Graham did likewise till Ned & Mary appeared in "The Sporting Duchess" (our boat) and we went to meet them & then to make a toilet for supper. I wore my black silk waist & lawn collar. We had a chat with Mr Hartley, Mr. Dymond

before supper, and afterwards with Flav. True & Stewart, who appeared on the piazza. Hilda has been telling us funny stories again - Ned thinks she's in love with Hartley, but I don't. They all went off to church after supper, & later we 4 did - Edith & I rowing. We went to camp first & met Miss Barnard - Then went to the camp-fire service - which was really not pleasant at all - because of the "sermon" by Mr. Cole. It was picturesque, however. The Lindsays were there a little while. Mr. Gray & Mr. True put me into the boat, the last one - and we floated home, almost, Mary & Edith rowing. The stars above & the water beneath some way made me feel - well, it had been coming on all day - & I had & have still I'm afraid, one of my streaks of blueish dumps. Mr. Dymond
got in, when we came to the dock, and paddled us about awhile and talked to us & was nice to us. I was so uneasy
