340NOVEMBER 27 Sun 1910
A dark day. Mother & I both got up late and I cleared
out every closet &c. in the morning. We went to Claude's to dinner at 1:30. was there &
quite nice too. He & C were going to
Mrs. Allen's to lunch & Letitia was going with
Maj. Jackson so Mother
& I took the boys down home & had such a
nice time. Nannacame for them and they all staid to supper. In the evening went to hear Mr.
Roger's lecture in the Unitarian Ch. good. Saw
Mrs. Alexander &c & Mrs.
[illegible] (Gertrude Alcott of Oswego.)
Mon 1911Gurdon came up this eve. (in Dr.
Jones's auto!) We had "greening's" & a nice visit. He
reports Herbert very prosperous in his
Packard Agency &c. I think he will
end in Automobiles. Says the Hillmans
are just in their new house.
Wed 1912
Sunny. CFB to Canandaigua &
Jim

Thurs. 1913 Thanksgiving. Pleasant but cool. I staid in bed late and then went back. Read there
& tended cat while Mother went to
church. Then took a bath & walked to Claude's with very [illegible]Marion there & Eugenie with a bad cold. We had a very nice
turkey dinner & a quiet talk before the fire. The boys were good. Then
came home & played flinch, wrote &c.
&c. Felt pretty tired but not so depressed as
usual Thanksgiving.
Fri. 1914
Still fine. Walked down with
Dolores. Had my "C.U." to lunch today and nice talk. She has
her horoscope from
Miss O'Neill. Edith
phoned tonight. Irene
came in about 9 o'clock for a little while & I walked down with her
in the moonlight. Found Mrs. Nash who walked home
with me.
