324NOVEMBER 11 Fri. 1910. 11 years ago today I came to Cutlers! Will Filmer is back (at Poffard) he has been away 12 years. Has 4 children Moma

1½. He says the 5 years he spent with us were the turning point in his life &c. &c. Well, I've helped him for good - & Martha Rathjen I think. It's great how such things count!
Sat. 1911. A lovely day - warm & spring like. Went to Cro'nestearly & watched my handsome nephews eat breakfast. At one Claude gave a large luncheon (40) at the Valley Club for Mr. & Mrs H.
I sat between Mr Ward and Mrs. Wolfe with Mr. Judson just near (& Dr. Daily) Had a lovely time. Mrs. W. certainly interesting. Afterward Mrs. Roby "Jo" & the Dr. took us for a lovely auto ride. Mrs. H.
sat next me & was very charming & entertaining. W.H. & Dr. next & Claudewith Jo - fine. Mother & I went to Sibley's to dinner & then to "Betsey Abroad" at the Lyceum (see mem ."
Mon 1912 Dr. Daily came to give Mother an osteopathic treatment tonight. Her Knee still lame. Lunched with Bess & Mary this week. Tues 1913. Mother went to Autumn Chapter and Jim and I stopped for her tonight & took Mrs. Arnold home too. (from Chestnut St.) Was going to Marguerite's tonight but didn't. It was horrid weather - cold Wed 1914 Cloudy. Lunched with Edith at Duffy's & got a new satchel with Mother's stamps. Saw Chattie on the Street. Tonight Irene came and we had a walk and a talk. She is in- fatuated with E.A.S. I felt rather blue & very tired. Ruth D
