93APRIL 2 Sat 1910
Lovely day. Home at noon and
to- night Hippodrome. The Seneca (with a
card to the Spragues who were motoring
down from Buffalo) to Mrs [illegible]
for a hat and then to Sibley'sto tea
- but I didn't go up for they'd just had a fearful accident - a child
killed. Read tonight &c. My new spring suit didn't come. Letter from
Claude
to say they were there - in NY - at the
Wellington &c.
Sun 1911
Fine. Went to Cro'nest to dinner. The children were much
interested in my cross-stitch pattern books. At about 5:15 I went to
the office & developed a roll of film.
Roy was then. Read later.
Tues 1912
Miserable day. Ice and slush
this morning and a regular blizzardy snow storm tonight and so damp and cold. Wrote letters tonight. One to
Charlotte Steele, who is coming thro' here in
June. Got my new black dress and "fixed" it tonight. Mr.
Paradis
here.
Wed 1913 Henry very sick all night with quinsy!
This a.m. the Dr. (McDowell) lanced it and relieved
him. Claude didn't come down till noon.
Coralyn
not very well either [illegible]!!!
Thurs 1914
Horrid day. Rain turning to
snow. Went to Sibley's to lunch &
then to the Hippodrome to "Wrecked in Mid -
Ocean" - a sort of a Titanic disaster affair - quite
thrilling!
