52FEBRUARY 21 Mon 1910 Feel very "grippy" today, but it was busy Monday so I tho't I'd go down. Miss Bradshaw wasn't there & JW was pretty hard on me I tho't. So I was "worn to a frazzle" by night. Mother was going dining with the Children & Mrs. Tappan & Jessie
 this p.m., so I had lunch down town. Put in the evening on the sofa. Father read me to sleep. Tues 1911 Nice winter day. Lunched with Lura this noon at Sibley's & then went to Hippo, at 5 Edith came & she & Lura & I went up to the Rogers. The Perfects sent a pink rose and lily of the Valley wreath - May died suddenly, Mabel, Agnes
, Clare
, Roger, Homer and everyone came home. M. stays all the week. Wed 1912 A bad snowstorm - 6 or 8 inches, so the cars got stalled this noon & I had to walk back. Worked on specification index at home tonight. It turned to rain. Read "Arabian Nights" a little while. CFB got a long letter from Hampden. Thurs 1913 Cloudy. Bought a $30 black suit for $10 at Touheys! Was fitted this noon. Am working on specifications again. with Mother Home tonight to the church supper and the Fitzhugh picture show! Mrs Ramsdell in. Sat 1914 Went to the Gordon this pm ("Day of Days") & then home to rest. To Claude's to dinner with Eugenie, Marion &c. Had a nice time & heard about Arnott Julier's fire in Philadelphia (Molly & the baby &c.)
