Another cold disagreeable day.
But we were warm & Comfy. Walked down with Marguerite this a.m. & rode in
John Frey's auto this p.m Herma baby & nurse came tonight. I went
to Mr.
put their parlor curtains up this p.m. late.
Thurs 1911
Horrid cold cloudy morning
but turned out lovely. Mother & I
went to the new Cafeteria (Glenny
Bldg) opened today. Talked to Miss Brewer
& her Father dropped dead to the street just after. Mother & Claude went to
Dorothy Robinson's wedding and reception. "Everyone" was
there. Sat up late to finish my book.
Sat 1912
A gorgeous day at last!! but a late breakfast. This a.m. I drove to
No. Brookfield
with Mr. Rintlea - a nice lazy arrive. Bought a
lawn move. After lunch went up to the highest hill - such a new! Took a
picture &c. Later.
Mary, Bess & I took "Belle" & the run about & had a fine
ride toward Waterville to an old Mill pond. Past the
"9 mile swamp" & Loomis's
&c. Woodlawn &c. After supper. To bed early a
lovely day (see mem.) Sun 1913
A bright warm morning. Slept
later h and Coralyn
& I took the lower Maple wood Park path
for a walk - resting frequently - went right to Cro'nest for dinner in the veranda a long restful,
afternoon on the west porch while it rained the boys cut out pictures, &
then home.
Letitia laid up with bee stings - got at
Rulifson's.
Mon 1914
Lovely day - cooler. Lunched
with Bess &
Mary (Enthusiastic!) and went to banks
&c.
Mother came down in auto. & Eugenie called in it later. Went to
Hippo (circus picture) and home to good supper.
Talked experiences with the Ruths
. In evening didaccounts and wrote &c. Tired & sleepy!
