came back this p.m. and helped get supper for Bess & Mary who came later & spent the evening. We had a lovely
time. They brought their seaweed stuff & I had my map. &c. &c.
Helen
told Stories & then "envied me" the mountains. They went home
about ten. Then H.
& I talked an hour & looked at maps & then went into
the kitchen and washed dishes another hour. I sleep
in the den while she is here. Henry had
his Adenoids out this p.m.
Wed 1911 Mother & I went to Cro'nest to supper tonight. The new playroom
is almost done. After we came home I went over to Miss
Colegrove's to see about making the green dress
Letitia (the boys!) gave me last
Christmas.
Fri. 1912 Miss Fox is getting to be one of the family. She's very
nice.
Miss MacDonell has gone home to
Canada (father sick) and may stay. Had to leave a
"lovely" case of typhoid! Poor lady!! Visited Frieda
& her new dog
Sat 1913
Took Henry & Chan to the Matinee "Snow white & the 7
dwarfs" this p.m. It was very charming & they en- joyed
it. Sat next to Wilhelmina Van Ingen & her father. I
went to the Erie train to meet "Father & Mother" returning from
Industry. Mother was on car.
Sun 1914
A lovely day. Warm in a.m.
tho'. I took & auto lesson with Welch & drove
round & round at Park & into garage! At 2:30
Clarence D. came with the Ford & I took
Bess,
Mary & Lura for a long & delightful ride.
Honeoye Falls - Bloomfield's up
Canandaigua
road - to Lima (accidentally) & back thro'
Honeoye & the "Rushes" -home. Got
to Lura's after dark and staid to
dinner - such a good one!
