236AUGUST 15 Mon 1910
A very warm day, but JW. went to N.Y. &
they left me alone, so I got a lot of blanks done. Home to such a good lunch. Tonight I made some of Alice's "red cocoa" preparation and
Mr. Conklin called &c. Letters from
Lura & Helen and others. A nice one for
Anna Caswell yesterday. We've had over
a hundred cards and letters & no end of calls.
[illegible] had a lovely tribute in the D & C.
yesterday.
Tues 1911

Sibley's (expensive!) Bess & Mame! A lot of sewing tonight & too

Mrs. Davis's birthday - warm -
