with the cats. Read by [illegible] north window Gassed
with Herma thro' the window. Moved my
& music box upstairs &c. &c. Our lawn looks fine & Frieda has had plants put in front She &
Leslie
worked here good deal. My teeth feel sore & my eyes ache some - but
last night did me good!
Mon 1911
Rain & Cooler. Had a lot
to do on my [illegible]
of the typewriter. We missed Mr.
Hampden - (especially Claude) in Hutchins sent a goodbye to me from the
Club. I shopped a little this morning, went home at noon
& developed films at night (a lot of trouble too) After supper fixed
photographs and took turns with Mother
reading aloud from "Everybody" Cold and windy outdoors now.
Wed 1912
Nice day. Staid home
& read this evening. Mother
went to prayer meeting. I went over on Rowe's
piazza for awhile M.
was in Dansville last Sunday & Mrs.
R. goes tomorrow
Thurs 1913
Still very rocky. Went to
Minette's
& with her to supper
Marguerite came up tonight a little
while Minette
going to Lake Placid this summer.
Fri 1914
Lovely cold day. Great too as
it was the last day of school. Chandler
spoke and Henry was in a dialogue!
Mother, Claude & Eugenie, went. I
rode out to the Park - with Jim at 5 & around the circle. Saw George
Ernest M. and the end of the children's dances. Late
supper, Ruth
