Pleasant but turned warm. Went down town early to tell Edith I'd go, see the girls and find out about typewriters. Had a session on Underwood's & another on Remington's. Finally lunched with Lura & met Mary & Nellie who were just finishing. Came back by Mrs. Weston's (78 Cyprus) about waist & Edna's. She has Neuralgia awfully. School began & Marguerite is in No. 10. Sewed [illegible] after supper r[illegible] I went up to say goodbye to Kath - but found her sick. We all sat out on the North Front - lawn - a perfect evening. Moon &c.
Tues 1911 Fine cool day. Lunched at Sibley's with Mary& Bess & went tonight with them to see "The woman". Danielle, the author, made a speech & Belasco (dressed like a priest) Came out & bowed. The company & play were good - all revolving around a telephone Exchange girl! Rode home with Mrs. Harris. The Lyceum is all done over clear in blue. Thurs. 1912
Went to Jno & Amelie's farm in the a.m.
Beautiful day & not over busy. Jim & Stern have a good deal of pleasantly over haber- dashery. Came home to lunch. Miss Fox made chocolate down stairs tonight. Very sleepy - Bed early!
Fri. 1913 C Warmer. Lunched with Bess & Mary at Sibley's & saw the Andrews. Mother lunched at Cro'nest to meet Mrs. Kellogg. The boys came home with her and stayed to supper & all night. Chan slept in my bed and I didn't sleep at all, hardly. Got a letter from Mrs. Hamilton. Mr. S. left Tuesday because it was "lovely". Sat 1914 A clear, beautiful day. Ruth & the Cooks & Mrs N. Went off to Black Bear Mt. After I took a couple of pictures. I threw my things in & the girls rowed me to the dam (with a lunch) & we took the auto to the dock & they waited with me till nearly 11 and then I started down the lakes - which were lovely, arriving at old Forge about 1. Came home, changing at Utica a nice dinner & read & Mother, Claude, Jim & the auto met me! Mrs. Watson dead and Alice McGrath. Lunch.
