122MAY 1 Sun. 1910 Slept fine & when I woke at 8:15 it was pouring Cleared off so Mrs. Andrews & I went to church & heard the new Mr. Harrington (Will Chapin in choir) Saw Bunnells, Hartmans, Edwards, McCurdy's, Fred Austin, Susie Parker &c. Edith in S.S. Mr. Reed's class - met Mr. Webster, Marie Rouse, Rhea, Catty Edwards &c. Dem to dinner. 20 mile drive to Cooley's ( Miller - bride
below Groveland. Lovely art flats - showers & lovely houses - good supper. Millard in evening & then long talk in thunder shower. Edith in love with two (?)
Mon. 1911 Very busy but didn't get at specifications till late. Reinhardt was in this p.m. It showered a good deal. Tonight went to see the new Lyceum Players in "Mme Sans Gene" which was fine. Claude sat in a box with Mr. Brown Mrs. Norton Clark The Wolfs and the Wentworth Hoyts. (I was invited) Walter Hampden is fine. Wed. 1912 Channie sick. Has been since Sunday more or less. Tonight I went to the "Victoria" on my way home (new "Hippodome") Mother was out till after prayer meeting. I walked down with Marguerite. Had a letter from Edith Andrews Clark - who is home in Dansville. Thurs. 1913 A lovely May day. Everyone con-gratulating Claude. The boys please &c. Hippo this noon and worked till after six tonight. Sewed a little & read "Atlantic" aloud. Then wrote, sorted negatives, figured &c. Fri. 1914 Lovely day. Walked up to Jim's & took auto up. The boys had been gathering violets in a basket for their teacher. Rode to school & then to the Station with Claude & then out to Allen's nursery with Jim for stock. Had Milly Davis as guest a lunch. They go north tomorrow. At night went out to Alice Galloway's new Park Ave. house to supper and strawberry short cake. Went thro' house Frank Bellamy is to have - opposite Alice's.
