Alice Jones took Dem away in the Auto after church and Mother & I had coffee in the kitchen. Then I went to Flacks' to call & to the station to went Harriette
. Gurdon stopped a see a girl (Augusta McMurray) on the way. Claude was here to dinner & we sat around the fire & talked. Mon 1911 Rather a dark day. A little early I went up to the Boy's Halloween party & Henry & Jimmy Little were looking for the "eight pin" & Chan Alice
& David Bacon playing apart! Later they had a lovely supper in the big room by candle & pumpkin-light. Mary L. Mrs. Van Zandt (Remington) & Miss Pratt came in. We popped corn &c and all came down in the car together. CFB went to the humdrum at Chas. Robinsons. Wed 1912 Got breakfast. Dear Mother very lame. I was very tired tonight. Lydia
 read aloud to us. Lunched at Sibley's. Thurs 1913. Busy. Went to hippodrome this noon & lunched at Kline's. Rode down with Jim. Read and worked on Manas in the evening. Cold. Went up to school with Jim, for the boys Fri 1914 A horrid day, weather wise. Lunched with Mrs. Laffray (Lydia
's friend "Belle"
.) And went to Cro'nest ("Norman Zelle") to dinner. Claude was on his way home from Buffalo, when he spent the day. Then I went to Florence's & Irene was there It had cleared & I walked nearly home with her in the moonlight.
